UNIQLO ADD RALLY-X, PHOENIX WRIGHT, DENSHA DE GO! T-SHIRT DESIGNS

Well spotted by Tiny Cartridge, the next three T-shirts in Uniqlo’s massive licensed game shirt series from Namco, with their smartly iconic Rally-X shirt, Taito with a very understated Densha De Go train simulator design, and Capcom with their excellent Phoenix Wright ‘Objection!’ design that probably would have put a dent in Way of the Rodent‘s own similar Wright design, except that it appears the Rodent store may be (temporarily?) missing in action.

Has anyone verified whether these shirts are making their way into the NYC based Uniqlo outlet?

It really honestly doesn’t get much better than this: Kotaku reader ‘Tonks’ sent in his custom pair of Noby Noby Boy sneakers which, naturally, feature a BOY made of a lace threaded entirely through the shoe.

Attn: Namco licensing department — strongly consider official versions.

GRAVELER ROADS: POLYGRAPH’S NEW POKÉMON 151 SHIRTS

The site actually appears to be down at the moment, but Japanese news outlet inside-games brings word that Game Freak/Polygraph’s previously mentioned brilliant joint venture POKÉMON 151 — creating art-style T-shirts for adults — has shown off these new upcoming designs.

While I’m quite taken by Tangela‘s slithering digit-stealing sinews and the chocolate/pink simplicity of the Mew, the ‘danger: falling rocks’ visual pun on the Graveler shirt (and turning its number into a highway marker) possibly tops the whole series so far.

If you were putting off buying that Diablo III T-shirt that made the hardcore weep, don’t wait another second. Nerdyshirts has emailed to say:

Blizzard wasn’t quite as thrilled with it as we were… We will be removing the Diablo shirt from our site on Thursday and will not be selling it after this date. We’ve marked the shirt down to only $5, get it before its gone for good!

As promised in January, Japan’s UNIQLO has unveiled the first in their amazingly wide-ranging new series of games related T-shirts, starting with a line-up of brilliant looking Pac-Man, Bomberman, Dig-Dug, Arkanoid, Galaxian, Mappy, Ape Escape and Resident Evil fineries, all of which will be released on the 16th of this month (no word yet how soon/if they’ll be brought to the stateside SoHo outlet).

Early April will then see the release of a Phoenix Wright, Rally-X and train sim Densha de Go! set, followed by Monster Hunter, Xevious, Street Fighter II, Mega Man, Sonic The Hedgehog, Family Tennis, Tekken and Puyo Pop.

Finally, throughout the end of April through June, we’ll see shirts for Hot Shot’s Golf, The Tower of Druaga, Parappa The Rapper, LittleBigPlanet, Doko Demo Issyo, Ghosts’n Goblins, Ridge Racer, Virtua Fighter, and both Japanese folk-tale related Momotaro Densetsu and Dentetsu.

Check the site for preview images of all the shirts through mid-April, and descriptions of all of the games represented — they’re certainly giving boutique label King of Games a retail-chain run for their money.
